What is Method-1 Shield?
Method-1 Shield is a technically sophisticated and high-quality film, which helps provide effective and long-lasting protection for your public spaces, buildings, and public transportation. It can be applied under any circumstances and in all locations with high sanitary requirements, such as clean rooms, cold rooms, nurseries, hospitals, food industries, and trade show venues. Method-1 Shield is constructed out of PVC, which is then enriched with Silver Ions.

ANTIMICROBIAL FILM SPECIFICATIONS
Method-1 Shield is a film composed of transparent cast polymeric PVC of 60 microns, containing antimicrobial agents, coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. Intended for antimicrobial protection of surfaces in areas that require a high degree of hygiene (public areas, agri-food, wet rooms, hospitals, etc.).
Antimicrobial agents based on silver ions are thoroughly mixed into a solution developed by the R&D department and then coated in multilayers homogeneously on an appropriate liner. This complex is polymerized to 200°C. Antimicrobial laminate is the result of this process providing a great flexibility, a high transparency and an effective protection against nosocomial diseases. PURE ZONE® technology is active on the following bacterial strains (according to ISO 22196): Staphylococcus aureus / Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) / Salmonella (Salmonella enterica) / Listeria (Listeria monocytogenes) / Escherichia coli / Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Method-1 Shield is constructed using Method-1’s proprietary processes plus Pure Zone antimicrobial laminate. All technical specifications regarding antimicrobial protection are those of Pure Zone.
