Simply white.

Is that really a color?

When Benjamin Moore announced Simply White as their color of the year for 2016, they did so amid clamor and debate.  Every fall, the design savy and color enthusiasts await the emerging trends from paint suppliers and color industry standard Pantone.  Although unexpected, I applaud it. I even compared  it to the Benjamin Moore Swiss coffee I bought just 2 weeks ago hoping I could pass myself off as really ahead of the trend. No luck.  But I still don’t think white is a “color.”     Whatever happened to Black is the presence of all color and white is the absence of all color?
