Dye-Sublimated Fabric Care

Our Threads™ exhibit system is made with dye-sublimated fabric.  When caring for Threads™ or other like fabrics, use this suggested care guide to experience the rich graphics in their best state.

Packaging

Graphics will be packed in reusable plastic Ziploc® style bags. These are great at preventing the graphics from getting dirty or damaged.

Cleaning

Do not dry clean! Dry cleaning chemicals can damage the graphics. Wash on the most gentle cycle available with a mild detergent like Woolite®. Tumble dry on low setting and remove and hang before the graphic is completely dry.

Wrinkles

Dye-sublimated graphics are fabric and fabric can wrinkle. Wrinkles generally occur during packing/shipping and most of the time disappear after the graphics have been set up for a while. The longer your display and graphics can sit after being assembled, the less noticeable the wrinkles will be. An inexpensive, handheld steamer works great for getting out wrinkles on a graphic

Handling

The lighter the color on the fabric graphics, the more likely the graphic is to show smudge marks and dirt. White is especially susceptible to dirt. Make sure you wash your hands before handling light colored fabric graphics. And gloves are a good idea for white fabric graphics handling.

Quads

Our MultiQuad® exhibit system is made with Quad graphics and aluminum framing.
